2010 Arbor Day Poster Contest Submissions Accepted Through March 1, 2010
All fifth-grade teachers encouraged to submit students' posters
The West Virginia Division of Forestry and the National Arbor Day Foundation are calling on all fifth-grade teachers to showcase their students' artistic talents by participating in the 2010 West Virginia Arbor Day Poster Contest. This year's theme is "Trees are Terrific. . . and Energy Wise!"

2009 Arbor Day Poster Contest Winners
Beth Sawyer, a fifth-grade student at Kingwood Elementary School in Preston County was the West Virginia state winner in the 2009 Arbor Day National Poster Contest.
Second Place was awarded to Hannah Pineault who attends Woodburn Elementary School in Monongalia County.
Third Place was awarded to Sabrina Spiker of Tunnelton-Denver Elementary in Preston County.
