2015 Arbor Day Poster Contest Announced

The West Virginia Division of Forestry and the Urban and Community Forestry Council are calling on all fourth and fifth grade teachers to showcase their students' artistic talents by participating in the 2015 West Virginia Arbor Day Poster Contest. This year's theme is "Trees are…Beneficial!”

The deadline for contest submissions is March 2, 2015.

2014 Arbor Day Poster Contest Winning Artwork

Fourth-grade student Chloe Pomeroy of West Teays Elementary in Putnam County and fifth-grade student Haleigh Henderson of Hilltop Elementary in Marshall County took top honors for their artwork supporting the contest’s theme, “Trees Are Alive!”
